In doing so, we pursue a risk-based approach and rely on clear governance and transparency measures to meet regulatory requirements and strengthen the trust of our users.

Model transparency & disclosure

Transparency is a key element of trustworthy AI. We disclose how our systems work — comprehensible and understandable for our users.

Disclosure of model providers and capabilities
We clearly explain which AI models our services are based on. Our users can find information about the origin and functionality of these models in our technical documentation. In this way, we enable well-founded use of our services.

Documentation on purpose, limits and risks
Our platform is accompanied by extensive documentation that describes the intended use, known restrictions, and potential risks of our AI services. In doing so, we promote the responsible and targeted use of technology.

Incident and risk management
We have internal processes to monitor our AI systems in order to identify and evaluate significant incidents or risks at an early stage. Where necessary, we are in contact with the relevant authorities and relevant stakeholders — always in line with our regulatory obligations.

Traceability & explanability of results
Our systems are designed in such a way that — as far as technically possible — they deliver comprehensible results. Users receive information on the basis of which a specific result was achieved. This increases transparency and promotes trust in our services.

Security & privacy

Protecting your data is our top priority. Our security architecture ensures that your information is kept confidential and that our systems are reliably protected.

Data protection and governance
We comply with the requirements of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as well as other relevant data protection laws. In our privacy policy, we transparently explain what data we collect and how we use it. Users can manage their cookie settings at any time or delete their account and personal data at contact@lawise.ai to apply for.

Technical infrastructure & safety
Our services are based on the infrastructure of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), which has a SOC 2 Type II Has a certificate. This internationally recognized test procedure proves that our systems meet high standards in terms of security, availability and confidentiality. The certification includes a comprehensive review of the relevant control systems over a longer period of time — and thus offers significantly more security than a one-time snapshot.
