Successful Launch for Zurich-based AI Legal Startup Lawise.ai

The Zurich LegalTech startup Lawise.ai has launched “Jurilo”, an AI-powered legal chatbot for businesses. After two years of development, Jurilo now answers legal questions in plain language for non-lawyers on topics such as labour and contract law. The company has already acquired its first clients and partners.

Lawise.ai’s legal bot analyses user queries in everyday language and provides quick, easy-to-understand answers based on current Swiss law. The tool currently covers labour and contract law and is aimed at SMEs, fiduciaries, and HR professionals. Additional legal areas — particularly tax and social security law — will follow by the end of the year.

Just a few weeks after launch, Lawise.ai already counts more than 100 corporate customers. Several distribution partnerships have also been signed, including with HR associations and accounting software providers.

Jurilo was developed in close collaboration with three major Swiss law firms, including Streiff von Kaenel, which continuously test and legally verify the system. The goal is to provide a practical, affordable solution for companies without in-house legal departments.

The fully self-financed startup, currently operating under the umbrella of the non-profit association Hightech Connect, plans to expand partnerships with associations and large enterprises and to enter European markets. A version for private individuals is also in development.
